The Canmore Public Library offers exam invigilation services to the public.
To book an exam, fill out the Exam Booking Form, call 403.678.2468 or email mpreston@canmorelibrary.ab.ca.
Exams should be scheduled with the library at least a week before they are to be written. It is the student's responsibility to contact their institution and have them send any exam-related documents to the library. The student is also responsible for contacting the library three days before their exam to ensure all the exam materials are ready.
The library can accommodate written and online exams. Please specify which type when booking your exam. Written exams will be held in a private room. Online exams will be held on one of our public internet stations.
The cost of each exam is $30.00, payable by cash or cheque at the library.
Exams may be written any day the library is open, depending on room availability. Exams can start a half hour before the library is open, and must be finished before the library closes.
Coordinate with your educational institution to have the exam sent to Canmore Public Library and phone the library to book your exam time. Approximately one week prior to your scheduled write date, call the library to make sure that all the required information has been received to ensure timely processing of your exam. Please ensure any accommodations you have requested from your institution are noted in the exam package.
Remember to bring your photo identification and exam fee in cash. Students should also bring their own writing utensils. As the library is a public space, students are encouraged to bring their own ear plugs to use during their exam.
Online exams will written on one of the Library's public computers unless alternate arrangements have been made. Please note that the Library does not provide laptops for students.
