Internet Access

The Canmore Public Library provides all visitors to the library with access to free internet and Wi-Fi. Library membership is not required.


Visitors can use their personal devices to access the library's Wi-Fi network.

Public Computers

The library has twelve computers with internet access available for public use. Children under 15 require a signed parental permission slip prior to use. The computers can be used for a half-hour session.

The computers all run on Windows 10, and have access to the following programs:

  • Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, Publisher, and Powerpoint)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • VLC Media Player
  • Google Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

Please bring your own earphones if you wish to listen to sound on the computers.
