Physical literacy describes the ability to move with competence and confidence in a variety of environments. Each kit is full of items and activity ideas to practice these skills.

Bocce Ball Kit

Bocce ball is a calming, and sometimes competitive way, to spend time playing outdoors. Kit has 8 bocce balls, 1 small white ball, and an activity book.

Pickleball Kit

Our library has 8 sets of walking poles available for loan.

Walking poles fit people 4'2" to 6'2", have ergonomic strapless handles, telescope for easy storage, and have metal tips for trails and rubber boot tips for sidewalks and roads. Come with nylon carrying case, instructional DVD, and user guide.

Discover Nature Explorer Pack

The Discover Nature Explorer Pack is designed to help you and your family learn, share, and discover our surroundings. This pack contains materials specifically for the Kananaskis Region. Materials include: binoculars; magnifying equipment; animal and plant identification books; field guides; first aid kit; and brochures and maps in multiple languages.

The library has a P3 International P4460 Kill A Watt EZ Electricity Usage Monitor available for take home use. Plug your household appliances into it to check their power consumption.
