Adult Summer Reading Game

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who played our Summer Reading Game this year! All the prizes have been drawn and programs have finished. If you would like to share some of your favourite memories from this summer, please send them to us.

And a big thank you to all the businesses and organizations that donated prizes and supplies to our Summer Reading Game. This would not have been possible without your support!

Summer Reading Game

The Summer Reading Game is back this year to give you a summer of reading and adventure! Sign up to be an adventurer in the Queendom of Libraria for reading challenges, summer programs, and so much more! Win prizes like a stay at Mount Engadine Lodge, Sunday brunch for four at the Vermillion Room at the Fairmont Banff Springs, and gift cards for local businesses.

Sign up for this Adult Summer Reading Game if you plan on completing all your challenges solo. Want to work on a reading game with the whole family? Check out our Family Summer Reading Game. You can register for both games if you want to adventure alone and with a team.

Work with an elementary student (aged 5 - 9) to help them discover their new favourite books and develop helpful literacy skills for one hour per week. You'll have access to books and literacy games and sessions are built around your schedule.

Once you've been paired with a buddy, you'll meet once a week for an hour, with flexible meeting times that fit both your schedules. As a senior buddy, you'll have all the resources of the library at your fingertips, including access to our special collection. You'll also have support from the library team when it comes to setting up appointments and troubleshooting along the way.
