Ever wonder what it’s like to work at the library? In this program, you will work alongside library staff and learn how to plan programming, run a story time, and help with the daily operations of the library.

Designed to provide a taste of what life is like for library staff, Junior Librarians is a weekly, registered program for children aged 9 - 12.

Over the course of the summer, participants will create displays, plan programs, facilitate storytimes and learn all about what it takes to be a librarian.

Working with dedicated mentors, our Junior Librarians will transform their ideas into experiences that they can share with the community.

After their training, participants will receive their official CPL certification.

Participants can choose to register for the morning or afternoon sessions, this is the morning session that runs on Thursdays from 10:30am - 12:00pm.
