People of all ages and interests who believe in the importance of a strong and vibrant community library can join this volunteer organization. You will meet interesting people and will have the personal satisfaction of knowing that you are making a difference in your library. You can participate in Friends activities and will be notified of upcoming meetings and events.

What do the Friends do?

• Support the Library and advocate on its behalf.
• Raise funds for identified needs beyond the scope of the Library's budget.
• Organize book sales.
• Host a Speaker's Series covering topics of interest to local residents.

To join the Friends the annual fees are only $5 per person or $10 per family, and can be purchased at the Canmore Public Library.  Benefits of membership include early access to the booksales, first pick on hundreds of hard and softcover books.
