How Long Can I Have an Item Out For?
All items belonging to our branch have a loan period of three weeks, except for DVDs which are one week. When you order an item in from another library you are subjected to their loaning policies.
I've Put an Item on Hold, How Will I Know When It Has Arrived?
You will receive a notification either on your phone or email, depending on what you have noted as your preference at the time of registration. We will hold your item for 10 days, if you think you won’t be able to come in within that time please notify us as soon as you can.
How Often Can I Renew an Item?
If no one has requested the item you can renew it twice.
I am Late Returning an Item, How Much Are Fines?
We offer one days grace on overdue items; then we begin charging .10 cents a day per item. Fines will be charged to a maximum of $4 for an adult item, and $2 for a children’s item, or $10 per family/per card. An entire family or individual account can be cleared for $10 (if fines are over the $10 limit).
The Library is Closed, How Can I Drop Off My Books?
For after library hours please feel free to use our book drop, located on the side of the building near the top of the ramp at the entrance to Elevation Place.
What is My Username and PIN?
Your username is set, by default, to your barcode found on your library card, with no spaces in-between. The PIN is set, as a default, to the last four digits of your phone number that was provided at the time of registration. You can change your username and/or password by logging into your account on TRAC (a link is located on the right hand side of our website).

Why Can't I Renew My Books Online?
There are a few reasons why a book cannot be renewed online: if it is overdue it will not let you renew, if you have reached your limit of renewals, or if someone has placed the item on hold. If you have any issues please don’t hesitate to call the library.
How Do I Search For a Title Online?
From any page on our website you can access the catalogue search. You can search with the filter of Keyword, Author, Subject, or Title. Once you have completed your search you will be brought to a new page where you can filter your results even further. Please note that you need to either limit the search to your local library or select “Where is it” located beside each item to make sure that it is in the library of your choice. You will also notice that beside each item record it will tell you the type of material you have: book, DVD, audio recording etc. Please pay careful attention to the type of material you are ordering to ensure you are getting exactly what you want.
