ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEES
Proof of residency and photo id required for all memberships. Payment by cash or cheque only.

Family                              $20  (includes 2 adults and all children under 18 living at home)
Adult                                 $12 
Senior (65+)                      $3
High School Students        FREE  (student id card must be provided)
Children                             FREE
Non-Residents                    $70
Temporary   (1-3 months)     $22  (include $10 refundable deposit)
Banff Guest Card                 $12 (Banff residents only)
Non-Permanent Residents   $12 (Individuals who own property in Canmore but live here part-time)


USING YOUR LIBRARY
Please remember to bring your library card with you each time you wish to borrow items.  Photo id such as a driver's license is acceptable if you forget your card.

Loan Period
Up to 50 items may be borrowed on each library card.  DVDs and videos have a 1 week loan period.  All other items including audio books, music cds, periodicals and books may be borrowed for 3 weeks.  Borrowing restrictions do apply to temporary and non-resident memberships.

Renewals
You may renew any items that are not on hold for someone else, either in person, by phone or online at http://www.tracpac.ab.ca/.  Library materials may be renewed a maximum of 2 times.

Reserves/Holds/Interlibrary Loans
Library materials which are not available when you visit, or materials that are not owned by our library may be reserved in person or online.  Once the requested item arrives you will be notified by phone or by email and the item(s) it will be held for a period of 10 days, after which the hold will be cancelled.

Overdues
Fines are assessed at a rate of 10 cents per item per day.  Fines will be charded up to a maximum of $4 for an adult item, $2 for a children's item, or $10 per family/per card.

Returns
Library materials may be returned during regular library hours or through our 24-hour book drop.

Internet Access
9 computers with Internet access are available to the public free of charge.  Library membership is not required, but all children under 15 require a signed parental permission slip prior to use.  Half-hour appointments may be booked up to one week in advance.  Printing is available at a cost of 25 cents per copy. 
Wireless access is also available.  Access codes are available at the front desk and are valid for the day.
