Home Book Search Book Renewal Online Databases Kids Events Links About Us Friends Literacy Teens New Books	People of all ages and interests who believe in the importance of a strong and vibrant community library can join this volunteer organization. You will meet interesting people and will have the personal satisfatction of knowing that you are making a difference in your library. You can participate in Friends activities and will be notified of upcoming meetings and events. What do the Friends do? Support the Library and advocate on its behalf. Raise funds for identified needs beyond the scope of the Library's budget. Organize book sales. Host a Speaker's Series covering topics of interest to local residents. To join the Friends the annual fees are only $5 per person or $10 per family, and can be purchased at the Canmore Public Library.
